Playtime

The boys enjoy playing together and it is a lot of fun watching them interact. Gabe is in orange, Xavier has the tan t-shirt and Creedyn is in the diaper here.

Here Xavier is checking out Mr. Potatohead's glasses and Creedyn is checking out a lid.

Gabe books, ottomans, and farmer's market bags

Grandpa John is reading to Gabe from a Childcraft nursery rhyme book I had as a little girl. This picture is very special to me!
Gabe discovered the joys of sitting on the ottoman in front of the window this week and seemed to think he has his own throne. It was a great place to play and read.
Here he is thoroughly checking out my farmer's market bag, inside and out!

Creedyn

Creedyn likes sitting on the table and makes a cute centerpiece!
He thoroughly enjoys books.

He is now on the move and is crawling more and faster everyday.

He still enjoys sleeping in Daddy's arms.

Xavier September 2008

Xavier likes to check out Dad's cap and help him when he is working on the computer.
He also likes cuddling with Mom.

Here he is checking out the taste and texture of blocks.

I think he is asking me to put the camera away.

Creedyn & Xavier Labor Day Weekend

Creedyn and Xavier are getting more active everyday. Here they are working on standing and wrestling with each other with a little assist from Brittany and Grandma Lynn. We were not sure if they were getting ready to kiss or bite each other. We can only imagine the interactions to come as they continue to grow. Creedyn is on the left.

Gabe

Gabe likes to take the toys out of the toy box and climb right on into it.
He likes buttons and to check out phones and remotes. He seems to have figured out how to use the phone because he has called 911 at least once!!!

He also loves his Mom!!

Xavier-a pole dancer???

I apologize for this being sideways, but it was so cute I had to share it. Enjoy!!

Creedyn

Creedyn is getting closer to crawling. The picture above is from mid to late July and the one below is from last week. He is now able to rock in hands knees and tends to move backwards instead of forwards. Soon he will be on the move.
He likes playing with Gabe and, so far anyway, Gabe is doing ok with sharing. We will have to see how that goes as Creedyn and Xavier get more on the move and more into his stuff!!

Xavier July 2008

Xavier likes sitting on the new picnic table.

He also really gets into teething biscuits and seems to get as much on him as in him!!

Gabe & Xavier and the Kitten

Gabe demonstrates two ways to carry a kitten, the over the shoulder carry and the snuggle in close carry.

Xavier and the kitten share playing with a ball. This kitten is definitely child friendly!!

First dinner out with everyone in high chairs

In mid July, we had our first dinner out where Creedyn and Xavier sat in high chairs for the first time. They seemed to enjoy it. Creedyn seemed to think the table was a giant teething toy!! Xavier was more interested in investigating what was on the table.

Gabe is Mr. Cool, reading a book while waiting for the meal to arrive.

Xavier is into the details.

Gabe loves lemons.

Video of Xavier and Creedyn

Xavier and Creedyn have their first lesson in sharing toys.

7/15/08 Creedyn & Xavier

We enjoy watching Xavier (in the diaper) and Creedyn play together. You just wonder what they are thinking about and how much fun they will have as they grow.

Trip with Gabe to Fair Oaks Dairy

We had a fun trip to Fair Oaks in early July. I would highly recommend a stop there if you have time when driving by. They have something for all ages.

Gabe liked walking with Grandpa John. He is more of a ham at smiling for the camera!

He needed some help from Grandma Lynn to reach the pedals and keep the tractor moving, but he liked steering.

He liked ringing the bell while riding in the train.

He loved jumping on the "Dairyair". I was afraid he was going to fly too high.
